Tom Lining: I grew up spending my summers in the small town of Unterrot Germany, as both my parents are german and have traveled extensively thru Europe. Mom and Dad being skiers, they had my brother and I on boards since we could walk. I competed in mogul skiing and ariels back in the late 70's early 80's. I switched over to ski racing and have been racing/coaching ever since. I've skied all over North America as well as Europe. I also have been racing mountain bikes for the past 25 years, have raced all over the United State and a few in Europe, 2 Time Leadville 100 finisher and was featured in the the movie Race Across the Sky 2010 a documentary on the Leadville 100 race. On most nights in the winter I can be found at my local hill Pine Knob Mi coaching, working and pacesetting NASTAR races.
